If you are using Firefox on a PC, you may not see the scroll bars in the Blackboard Grade Center.
Zoom out on a browser by pressing CRTL + 0 on a PC and Command + 0 on a Mac.
Windows 7 (see below for screenshots) The first step would be to right-click on your desktop and select the Personalize option.
- Go to Control Panel
- Select Appearance and Personalization
- In top right-hand search box, type "windows color"
- It will bring up Personalization and a list. Select "Change window colors and metrics".
- Click on the Item Dropdown (default says Desktop) and select "Scrollbar" and change to 19.
Windows Vista
- Go to the Control Panel.
- Click on Personalization.
- Select the Window Color and Appearance option.
- Click on the Advanced button.

- Submit.
Windows XP
- Go to the Control Panel.
- Click on Display Properties.
- Click on the Appearance tab.
- Select the Advanced button.
- Select the Scroll Bar from the item drop down list.
- Change the setting to 19.
- Submit.
- Launch System Preferences, either from the Dock or from the Apple menu.
- Once the System Preferences window opens, select the General preference pane.
- The middle section of the General preference pane controls when scroll bars appear and a few additional scroll bar options.

Now, you will be in the Personalization screen, where you would select Window Color option at the bottom of the screen.
Next step, once you are in the Windows Color screen, would be to click on Advanced appearance settings.
Finally, under Item: select Scroll Bar from the dropdown list, which is set to Desktop as default, and set the size of the item to 17.
Then click ‘submit’.
